doctoredphotography is the creative outlet of Dr Dennis Golchert. A chemical engineer by trade, Dennis first started photography in 2002 with an entry level Canon film SLR to record his travels around the world as part of his academic research. Photography seemed the obvious choice for a hobby, combining the physics of light with the art of composition.

Ten years later, Dennis still enjoys getting out and about with a Canon 5D digital SLR, recording people and places around the world. Previously he has been the official photographer for the St Mary Bredin church football club and along with his wife, Fiona, has photographed a number of weddings around the Canterbury area.
